Villa Margaux

Welcome to Villa Margaux, idyllically situated in Sillans- la-Cascade in the ‘Green’ Var region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

Our Provençal-style decorated home is located on a one acre property in the Regional Natural Park of Verdon, offering splendid terrace views of the rolling hills in the ‘Haut-Var’. Surrounded by natural forest, wildflowers, herbs and superb vegetation and (at night) the sound of running streams - Villa Margaux is Provence true to it’s core.

The long driveway will lead you to the Villa, where you will be greeted by a large private swimming pool surrounded by the natural vegetation.

The Villa’s ground floor features a colorfully decorated attached dining and living space, complete with a 20^th century stone fireplace that floods out via two French doors to the summer terrace, perfect for a famous Provence rosé in the tranquil Var afternoon. The interior temperature is always ambient due to the thick walls and all windows include fixed or adjustable mosquito screens. Electric heating is also available throughout the home.

Downstairs there are two bedrooms; one offers a 140x190 wrought iron canopy bed and the other 160x 200 wrought iron canopy. Both rooms are tiled, complete with dressers and inbuilt wardrobes for ideal storage. Additionally, a large provincial bathroom and shower as well as a WC is located on the ground floor.

A thoughtfully adorned and fully-equipped kitchen offers an electric oven, a gas stove/ hot plate, a fridge/freezer as well as a washing machine and dishwasher.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, both tiled, one room offers two single beds and the other is comprises of a twin size trundle bed. Both rooms adequately sleep two people however the trundle room is ideally suited to teenagers or young children. The upstairs section is complemented with a bathroom containing a WC, a bathtub and a fixed showerhead depending on your preferences.
